Okay, first impression? This blanket arrived like it was ready for its Instagram debut. The packaging was so nice I almost didn't want to open it (but of course I did).

The lilac color is GORGEOUS - exactly like the pictures. It's got this subtle sheen that makes it look way more expensive than it is. When I first touched it, I literally said 'oh wow' out loud to my empty bedroom.

Size-wise, it's perfect for my California King bed with plenty of overhang. Not too heavy but not flimsy either - Goldilocks would approve. Been using it for about a month now through some temperature swings and it's been perfect.

Now the not-so-great part: My cat's claws are basically this blanket's nemesis. After one night, there were already some snags. Had to get crafty and make a little protective cover for her favorite spot.

After washing (cold water, gentle cycle), it did shrink a bit and lost some of that initial softness, but that's pretty normal for cotton. Still super comfy though - just more lived-in feeling now.

Would I buy again? Absolutely! Just maybe not in white if you have pets. At this price point, the quality is seriously impressive.
