Just switched from a crappy DSL setup to this Cudy N300 and wow, what a difference! Living in the middle of nowhere finally doesn't mean terrible internet anymore.
The setup was stupid easy - popped in my AT&T SIM card, typed in the PIN on the web interface, and bam! Instant connection. Getting speeds around 14M download now compared to my old 1.8M DSL. That's like going from dial-up to modern times overnight!
What really surprised me was the range. I'm about a mile from the nearest cell tower but still get solid signal without any external antennas. Just placed it near an upstairs window pointing towards the tower and it works like magic.
Pro tip: If you're switching from DSL like I did, check your carrier's data plans first. I saved $60/month by moving everything to AT&T's Premier plan with two data SIMs (50GB each) that I can swap when one runs low.
The only thing keeping this from being perfect is that tech support seems average (though I haven't really needed it). But for the price? Absolute steal if you need reliable internet where cable can't reach.
