Okay, so I finally caved and bought this black fluffy rug after seeing it everywhere online. Let me tell you – it did NOT disappoint!

First off, the softness is unreal. Like walking on a cloud made of marshmallows. My feet have never been happier (and I work from home, so that’s saying something). The 1.7” thickness makes it perfect for lounging or playtime with my hyperactive nephew.

The non-slip backing actually works?! Even when my dog goes full zoomies mode across it. No more rug surfing across my hardwood floors (RIP to my last rug that became a slip-n-slide).

Pro tip: When it arrives looking like a sad pancake in a vacuum bag, don’t panic! After 48 hours of fluffing and some vigorous shaking (great stress relief btw), it plumped up beautifully.

Only minor complaint? It sheds a bit at first like an excited golden retriever. But after a few vacuum sessions, we’re good. For the price? 10/10 would buy again – might even get one for every room because I’m extra like that.
