Okay, so I've been using this XbotGo gimbal for my kid's soccer games for about a month now, and here's the real tea:
The auto-tracking is seriously impressive when it works. Like, I set it up on the sidelines and it actually followed the ball around like a mini camera crew. No more shaky parent footage where you miss all the goals because you were blinking!
BUT... when the game gets fast? Oh boy. It starts panicking like me during Black Friday sales. Sometimes it gets distracted by random people in the stands or just decides to stare at the ground. You definitely can't just 'set it and forget it' like they claim.
The app is super user-friendly though - even my tech-challenged husband figured it out. And that live streaming feature? Absolute game changer for grandparents who can't make every game.
Battery life is solid - lasted through back-to-back games without dying on me. But heads up: if you're streaming, bring a power bank because it guzzles battery like my teenager drinks Gatorade.
At this price point, I expected perfection, but what I got was a pretty good start with room for improvement. Would I buy it again? Maybe wait for version 2.0...
