Okay, so I finally caved and got this Kasa power strip after eyeing it for months. Best. Decision. Ever.
The setup was stupid easy - like 'plug it in and bam, connected' easy. The app guided me through everything in under 2 minutes (yes, I timed it). Now my coffee maker, lamp, and phone charger all obey my commands like well-trained puppies.
What's awesome:
- Voice control actually works (shocking, I know)! 'Alexa, turn on my reading light' feels straight out of a sci-fi movie
- The USB ports are lifesavers when all my devices decide to die simultaneously
- Being able to schedule my Christmas lights to turn on at sunset automatically? Pure magic
The only tiny gripe? Sometimes it forgets its WiFi password (don't we all), but unplugging and replugging fixes it instantly. For the price and convenience, I'll take that minor quirk any day.
10/10 would recommend to anyone who's tired of crawling under furniture to unplug things or wants to pretend they're living in the future.
