Just unboxed my new Samsung 8K TV and wow - that Infinity Screen is no joke! The edge-to-edge display makes my living room feel like a mini theater. The Quantum Matrix Pro with Mini LEDs delivers colors so vibrant they almost hurt my eyes (in a good way).
The Gaming Hub controller/remote combo is genius for someone like me who constantly loses remotes. Though I did notice some forced ads in screensavers - not cool, Samsung.
Picture quality? Stunning. Watched Avengers and could suddenly spot all the CGI flaws my old TV hid. Kinda ruined the magic but impressed by the detail.
Downsides: Built-in audio is weak (immediately needed external speakers) and occasional 1-second blackouts on lower-res YouTube videos. Also, why make me pay for casting apps that should be standard?
Overall? If you can get it under $3K and want future-proof tech, it's worth it. Otherwise, might be smarter to go with a larger 4K set.
