Okay, so I got this Korean folk game set because I wanted something nostalgic and fun for family game nights. Let me break it down for you:
First, the good stuff - my kids absolutely LOVED the Ddakji (paper flipping game) and Jebi Chagi (the kicky paper thing). We spent hours laughing and competing. The Gong-gi stones were cute too, though smaller than expected.
Now the bad... that spinning top (Paeng-y) was a total disappointment. Mine broke on the FIRST spin! Like, come on - isn't this supposed to be traditional quality? Some of the paper pieces also felt super cheap.
Would I recommend it? Maybe if you're okay with replacing some pieces yourself. It's great for introducing Korean culture to kids, but don't expect museum-quality craftsmanship here.
Final verdict: 3/5 stars - fun concept but needs better materials!
