Okay, so I just finished 'Betrayal' and WOW. This book had me hooked from page one! Tim Tigner's writing is so smooth—it's like the story just flows effortlessly. The characters? Absolutely fleshed out. Even the 'bad guys' have layers, which makes everything feel so real.
The plot is INTENSE. Special Agent Odi Carr surviving a betrayal in Iran and then coming back for revenge? Yes, please! The twists kept me guessing, and the pacing was perfect—I literally read it in one sitting (sorry, sleep).
What really got me was how scarily believable it all felt. The post-9/11 world, the corruption, the moral dilemmas—it’s like Tigner tapped into real-life fears and spun them into this gripping thriller.
My only gripe? It ended. I need a sequel ASAP because I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters. If you love action-packed, thought-provoking thrillers with heart, this is your next read. 5/5 stars from me!
