I was skeptical at first because of the 3D-printed nature of this figure, but the MerryXD T13 completely won me over. The articulation is fantastic—way better than I expected for the price. My son loves posing it in dynamic action stances, and I’ve even caught myself fiddling with it during work breaks.
The accessories are a huge plus. The swords and guns add so much play value, though I did have to glue the kneecaps after one popped off during an overly enthusiastic battle scene. It’s an easy fix, but something to be mindful of if you’re giving this to younger kids.
What surprised me most was how sturdy it feels despite its delicate appearance. The joints hold poses well, making it great for display or even as an art reference (I’ve used it for sketching dynamic poses). The customizable color options are a nice touch too—we’re already planning to get another one in a different color scheme.
My only minor gripe? The middle finger hands included in the set. While easily discarded, they felt unnecessary for a toy marketed to all ages. That aside, this little figure punches way above its weight class in terms of fun and versatility.
