I've been using this FLUENTPOWER suction hose kit for my garden pump setup, and it's been a mixed bag of reliability and quirks. The reinforced PVC material feels sturdy, and I appreciate how lightweight it is when dragging it around my property.

The brass fittings and check valve work exactly as advertised - no leaks, and the self-priming feature saves me so much time compared to my old setup. I use it to transfer water from my rain barrels to the vegetable garden, and that filter cover has saved my pump from debris multiple times already.

However, that coil memory is no joke! Even after weeks of use, this hose still wants to curl up like a stubborn snake. I ended up weighting it down with bricks when not in use, which helped somewhat. For deep water sources, the stiffness can be frustrating when you're trying to position it just right.

Durability seems good so far - no tears or kinks after two months of regular use, though some reviewers reported issues. The included clamps create a perfect seal with my 1HP pump. Just wish it came with some solution for the coiling issue straight out of the box.
