Okay, so I finally took the plunge and bought this VIVOHOME vacuum pump kit after my car AC gave up. Best. Decision. Ever.

The pump itself? Surprisingly quiet for something that pulls such strong vacuum. The aluminum housing feels premium, and that rubber base actually keeps it from dancing across my garage floor. Did my first evacuation in 30 mins flat - held vacuum like a champ.

Love the color-coded hoses (no more guessing which is high/low pressure), though I wish they included that self-sealing R134a adapter everyone uses nowadays. Minor gripe though.
