Okay, so I've tried like 5 different smart plugs before this one, and hands down - the KimPump is my new favorite!

First off, setup was STUPID easy. Some other brands make you jump through hoops with their proprietary apps, but this one just worked with my Alexa immediately. Didn't even have to curse at it like my last smart plug!

The voice control is legit magic. Came home with groceries yesterday and just yelled 'Alexa turn on the lamp' while holding bags - felt like a wizard! Also love being able to turn off appliances from bed when I'm too lazy to get up (which is always).

Pro tip: Using it for my dog's water fountain has been a game changer. No more midnight bathroom trips for the pup! The scheduling feature means it turns off automatically at bedtime.

Only thing to watch - it only works with 2.4GHz WiFi (like most smart plugs). But connection has been rock solid even in my weird basement corner where nothing else works.

At this price? Already planning to buy more for Christmas lights and coffee maker. Seriously worth every penny!
