I've been using the Black Spot Removing Facial and Body Essence for about 6 weeks now, and I have some thoughts to share. First off, the serum has a lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. It didn't leave any greasy residue, which I really appreciated.
The formula contains nicotinamide, 3-o-ethyl ascorbic acid, and alpha-arbutin - ingredients known for their brightening properties. I noticed my skin did feel more hydrated after application, but when it comes to fading dark spots... well, that's where things get tricky.
After consistent morning and night use (paired with sunscreen during the day as recommended), I saw minimal improvement in my sun spots. They might be slightly lighter, but certainly not dramatically faded as some reviews claim. The product didn't cause any irritation though, which is a plus.
What's frustrating is the mixed results among users. Some swear by it while others (like me) see little change. The price point isn't cheap either, so you'd expect more noticeable results. If you're dealing with very stubborn pigmentation, this might not be your miracle solution.
Would I repurchase? Probably not - there are other serums with similar ingredients that have worked better for me personally. But if you want to try it, remember consistency is key and manage your expectations.
