Let me start by saying I was skeptical about this EMS ab belt at first. The idea of 'toning while sitting' sounded too good to be true. But after 3 weeks of using it during my Netflix binges (yes, really), I'm surprised by the subtle but noticeable tightening in my core.
The first time I turned it on at level 3, the tingling sensation made me jump! It's not painful - more like tiny muscle twitches. By week 2, I worked up to level 8 while answering emails. Pro tip: wear it over a thin shirt to avoid that weird sticky gel feeling.
Now the not-so-great parts: The magnetic pods do pop off if you move too much (I lost one behind my couch). And that buckle? Useless. I just use the velcro. Also, don't expect six-pack miracles - this works best paired with actual exercise.
Would I recommend it? If you want low-effort toning and understand its limitations, yes. But if you're expecting gym-level results while eating chips... maybe adjust those expectations.
