First off, this buckle is STUNNING. The design is everything I wanted for my western look – bold, detailed, and just the right amount of flash without being over-the-top. It’s lightweight too, which I actually prefer for all-day wear.

BUT… here’s the thing. The fastening mechanism? Not great. The little ball that’s supposed to secure it to your belt feels flimsy. Mine didn’t fall off immediately like some reviewers mentioned, but after two weeks of occasional wear, it started wobbling like a loose tooth. A dab of superglue fixed it temporarily, but c’mon – I shouldn’t have to MacGyver a brand-new accessory.

The size is perfect if you want something noticeable but not comically large (looking at you, rodeo clowns). However, I did notice the buckle attaches right-to-left instead of the traditional left-to-right orientation. Not a dealbreaker, but weird if you’re used to standard buckles.

Final verdict? Gorgeous to look at, makes my belt feel special… but bring your glue gun and low expectations for durability. Would I buy again? Maybe if they fix that janky fastener.
