Okay, so I wasn't expecting much from these $20 walkie talkies, but holy cow was I wrong! My kids and I have been having a blast with them.

The range is way better than advertised - my son could chat with his friend across the neighborhood while they were both inside their houses. And the battery life? Insanely good with regular AA batteries (which I love because who needs another USB charger?).

They're super easy to use - my 8-year-old figured them out immediately. The sound quality is crisp and loud enough to hear clearly. We did get some funny moments picking up truckers on certain channels (CB radio flashbacks anyone?).

The size is perfect - not too bulky but not tiny either. They've got these nice little grips that make them comfortable to hold. And the colors are actually cute! We got the orange ones and they look way more premium than the price suggests.

Used them on our last cruise and they worked great throughout most of the ship (except opposite ends). Way better than paying for the ship's texting app that never notifies you!

For $20? Absolute steal. Already planning to buy more as gifts!
