Let me start by saying this media stand is a beast—in a good way. When the box arrived, I was shocked at how compact it was, but don’t let that fool you. The packaging is tight and protective, with each part neatly wrapped in clear plastic. No scratches, no missing pieces—just a satisfying unboxing experience.
Assembly took me about 45 minutes. The instructions are decent, though I did have a moment of confusion with the 'D' screws (they’re the ones with the washer-like rings, FYI). The hex screws need to be cranked down tightly, but once assembled, this stand feels rock-solid. Pro tip: Double-check all connections—I missed one screw initially and had to backtrack.
Now, the shelves. They’re... quirky. The trapezoid shape is unusual, and I’m still not entirely sure why they didn’t just go with a rectangle. The middle shelves are recessed, which looks cool but means larger devices like my Blu-Ray player hang off the edges slightly. Not ideal for airflow, but my Xbox and router fit perfectly. The top shelf is spacious enough for my receiver though—no complaints there.
The built-in power strip is a game-changer. Four AC outlets plus USB ports? Yes please. It’s mounted on the second shelf (adjustable to third), and it keeps cables tidy on this otherwise very open design. Just wish it had a surge protector.
Stability? Impressive. Even with heavy gear on top, zero wobbles. The cross-hatched bottom shelf provides great ventilation for my amp too.
Final verdict: It’s not perfect (those middle shelves...), but for the price? A great value if you need organized corner storage for lighter AV gear or gaming setups.
