Let me start by saying this rack solved my filament chaos. As someone with a growing collection of 30+ spools, I was drowning in cardboard boxes and tangled threads. The moment I assembled this (yes, just four steps!), my workshop instantly looked like a professional 3D printing studio.
The metal construction feels industrial-chic, and the compact footprint is genius - it fits perfectly between my printer and workbench. I particularly love how the tiered design lets me quickly grab my favorite PLA colors mid-print without the dreaded 'spool avalanche' that happened with my old shelving.
That said, I did nearly give myself a nasty scratch on those sharp top corners while loading spools - definitely not kid-friendly. And while it claims to hold 80 spools, I've comfortably fit about 60 with some breathing room between them. The powder coating does attract dust though - my white rack shows every speck.
Would I buy it again? Absolutely, but maybe wait for a sale. For serious makers drowning in filament, this is a game-changer despite its quirks. Just maybe keep some band-aids handy during assembly.
