First, the good stuff: These guards are surprisingly sturdy. I took a nasty spill while skiing, and while the guard cracked (RIP), the actual lens was completely unharmed. That's exactly what they're designed to do - take the hit so your expensive camera doesn't have to. Installation is a breeze too - they click into place with satisfying precision.
