Just got this Peakworks fall restraint belt for my roofing side gig. First impression? Lighter than I expected – barely notice it when moving around on steep pitches. The polyester webbing feels sturdy, and that back D-ring is solid (though some reviewers cut theirs off?).
MAJOR SIZING NOTE: Runs big! I'm usually a 36 waist but had to cinch this Large to the tightest hole. If you're between sizes, definitely size down. Almost returned it before realizing the adjustability.
Used it with my Klein tool pouch last week – the loops handle extra gear surprisingly well. Noticed the trauma straps too (nice touch you hopefully never need). Partner wears theirs over winter layers and says the XXL fits perfectly.
Downside? Saw one review saying theirs failed in 2 months. Mine's holding strong after 6 weeks of daily abuse, but I inspect it religiously. For pure restraint work (not fall arrest), it's been flawless. Would buy again – just wish they offered more color options!
