Okay, so I was SUPER excited to try these incense sticks after reading the description. Lemongrass? Mandarin? Lavender? Sounds like a zen paradise in a stick, right? Well... not exactly.

First off, the scent is NOTHING like described. Instead of that refreshing citrusy-herbal vibe, it just smells like... well, burning. Like when you accidentally leave a piece of paper too close to a candle. Major disappointment.

The burn time is crazy fast too - barely had time to take a deep breath before it was done. And weirdly, the sticks I got are black-coated, not brown like in the product photos. Makes me wonder if I got a different batch or something?

I really wanted to love these (the ethical sourcing sounded great!), but the actual product just doesn't deliver. Maybe I got a bad batch? Either way, can't recommend based on my experience. Back to my trusty Nag Champa for now!
