As someone who's been caring for an elderly parent post-surgery, these pads have been a mixed bag. The price point initially drew me in - they're noticeably cheaper than other brands I've tried. The absorption is decent; liquids turn to gel quickly without leaks during my mom's bedside commode use.

However, I did notice the plastic feels thinner than premium brands. One pad tore when I was adjusting it in the bucket, which never happened with thicker competitors. For lighter use (like occasional overnight accidents), they hold up fine, but heavy-duty situations might require doubling up.

The odor control surprised me - way better than expected! Even after 8 hours, there's barely any smell. I also use them in our camping porta-potty (rolled up with a liner) and they prevent that awful 'blue liquid' sloshing during transport.

Would I repurchase? Probably - for the price and convenience. But if my parent needed full-time care, I'd invest in thicker pads despite the higher cost.
