• The pacing? Wildly uneven. One chapter they’re snarling at each other, the next they’re suddenly in deep introspection. It’s like the author couldn’t decide between action and angst.

• The wolf/human inner dialogues? Exhausting. Half the time I couldn’t tell if the FMC was arguing with herself or her wolf. And girl, SPEAK UP. The silent martyr act got old fast.
