Okay, so I grabbed this PTX Special Adhesive Tape thinking it would be the hero for my sanding belts. Spoiler alert: it wasn't.

First off, the adhesive is... well, barely there. I followed the instructions, cleaned the belts, even used lacquer thinner—nope. The tape just refused to stick properly. My belts kept coming apart mid-use. Super frustrating when you're in the middle of a project.

Also, the width is just too narrow (1 inch). Not enough 'bight' to hold things securely. Ended up having to layer it on a bias with solvents and bonding agents, which totally defeats the purpose of a 'special' tape.

Honestly, this feels like glorified packing tape. You could probably get the same thing at Walmart for way cheaper. Save your money and skip this one unless you're wrapping boxes—and even then, I'm not sure it'll stick.
