Okay, so I finally got my hands on the Gilprop 7oz Silver Holographic Glitter Paint Additive, and here's the tea ☕️.
First off, the sparkle is NEXT LEVEL when you see it in person. Photos don’t do it justice—like, my ceiling looks like a legit galaxy now 🌌. If you're going for that 'stars at night' vibe, this stuff delivers.
BUT—big but—you gotta mix it RIGHT. I tried a small test patch with 2 tbsp glitter in 1/4 cup paint (water-based, obvi), and... crickets. Barely any shine. Had to double the glitter ratio to get that ✨wow✨ effect. Pro tip: go heavy-handed if you want drama.
Also, heads up: oil-based paints = glitter murder. Stick to water-based unless you want sad, corroded sparkles.
Verdict? 8/10 for ceilings/walls when mixed aggressively. 4/10 for subtle shimmer. Would rebuy for my next cosmic DIY project!
