Alright, so I've been using this gravel vacuum for a few weeks now, and here's the tea ☕️.
First off, the hand pump is a GAME CHANGER. No more awkwardly trying to start a siphon like some kind of aquarium wizard. Two squeezes and boom—water starts flowing. Super handy for my 10-gallon tank.
But... it’s not perfect. The suction can get a bit sticky after a few uses. I had to MacGyver it by capping the end with my finger to get it going again. Annoying? Yes. Dealbreaker? Nah.
The mesh screen is a lifesaver for my tiny ramshorn snails (RIP to the ones lost in previous vacuums). And the adjustable flow is clutch—no more accidentally terrorizing my betta during cleaning.
Would I buy it again? Yeah, but maybe keep the receipt just in case. It’s budget-friendly and gets the job done, but don’t expect industrial-grade quality.
