Let me start by saying these Verbatim BD-R discs have been my go-to for archiving important files and movies. The 50-pack spindle is a great value, and the discs feel sturdy right out of the box.

The super hard coat really makes a difference - I've accidentally dropped a few discs (oops!) and they came out scratch-free. No more panicking when my cat decides to bat them around like hockey pucks!

Burning at 16X speed works flawlessly, though I usually stick to 6X for my most important backups. The slower speed might take longer (about 26 minutes for a full disc in my experience) but gives me peace of mind for long-term storage.

Compatibility has been perfect across my different devices - they work in my Sony Blu-ray player, LG drive, and even my friend's PlayStation 5 (with the right burning software). No more compatibility headaches!

The only minor downside? They're not the cheapest option out there. But when it comes to protecting my data, I'd rather pay extra for Verbatim's reliability than risk losing files to cheaper, questionable discs.

After burning through about 30 discs so far, I haven't had a single coaster. That's more than I can say for some other brands I've tried. These discs just work, every time.
