Okay, so I just finished PENALTY by Jacob Chance and wow—did NOT see that plot twist coming! This sports romance had me hooked from the first chapter.

Brady Lincoln is your classic bad-boy quarterback: cocky, alpha, and totally off-limits for someone like Harlow. But when their paths cross at a party? Sparks fly. I loved how Brady actually had to WORK for her attention instead of just flashing his smile. Refreshing!

The chemistry? 🔥🔥🔥 Like, 'read-with-a-fan-on' levels of hot. But what really got me was the emotional depth. Harlow’s guarded heart vs. Brady’s player reputation made for some serious tension.

Also—side note—Nick and Raine (the side characters) deserve their own book ASAP. Just saying.

4.5 stars from me! If you love sports romances with heat + heart, this one’s a touchdown.
