Okay, so I finally caved and bought these boots after seeing them all over Instagram. First impression? WAY cuter in person than in photos!

The faux suede feels soft but sturdy - not that cheap plasticky stuff. The chunky heel is perfect for short girls like me (5'2" gang rise up) without being clunky. Wore them with skinny jeans and a sweater, got 3 compliments before noon.

Comfort level: 9/10. The memory foam insole is like walking on clouds, but fair warning - they do run slightly big. I'm usually a US 7 but could've gone with 6.5. Pro tip: wear thicker socks!

Only downside? The squeaking! First few wears sounded like a mouse convention in my shoes. It's getting better though - maybe they just needed breaking in?

Zipper is genius for quick on/off, though the laces are comically short. Like, barely-tie-a-bow short. Still obsessed though - already planning to get the tan pair for spring!
