Let me start by saying this bow and arrow set delivers some serious fun for kids. The LED lights on the bows create an awesome glow-in-the-dark effect that had my nephew giggling with excitement during our nighttime 'archery tournaments' in the living room.
The suction cup arrows are genius - they stick firmly to windows and smooth surfaces without causing damage. I particularly appreciated how lightweight the bows are, making them perfect for small hands. My 6-year-old niece could easily grip and pull the string without straining.
However, the standing target is this set's Achilles' heel. Like several reviewers mentioned, it constantly falls apart and tips over. We ended up using a cardboard box with hand-drawn targets which actually worked better! The string tension also seems to weaken over time - after about a month of regular use, the arrows weren't reaching the target with the same force.
Where this set shines is in developing coordination. I watched my nephew's focus improve dramatically as he practiced his aim. The adjustable string length (though finicky) does allow for different age groups to use it comfortably.
For the price, it's a decent starter set that provides hours of entertainment, though serious young archers might outgrow it quickly. The included quivers and abundance of arrows (20!) make it great for sibling playdates or birthday party activities.
