I've been using the HYHome soap dispenser for about two months now, and it's been a mixed experience. The sleek design and navy blue color instantly upgraded my kitchen aesthetic - no more clunky plastic bottles! The 500ml capacity means I only refill it every 3-4 weeks, which is fantastic for my busy household.
The three dispensing levels are genius. Level 1 (0.8ml) is perfect for quick hand washes, while level 3 (3ml) gives enough soap when I'm cleaning greasy pans. The built-in clock is surprisingly useful when my hands are covered in flour and I can't check my phone.
However, I've noticed the sensor can be temperamental. Sometimes it works perfectly, other times I have to wave my hand like I'm conducting an orchestra to get soap. The battery life is decent (about 6 weeks per charge), but I wish the low battery indicator was more noticeable.
My biggest gripe? The sensor completely failed after 3 months of use. Now it's just an expensive clock on my countertop. For the price, I expected better durability. When it worked, it was fantastic - but that 'when' became far too unpredictable.
