Okay, so I finally got my hands on the GRAFF Premium Wood Carving Disc, and wow—this thing is a beast! I’ve been battling stubborn tree roots in my yard for ages, and nothing else (chainsaws, reciprocating saws—you name it) came close to this disc’s efficiency.
The flat disc made quick work of leveling out six gnarly roots in no time. My new riding mower can now glide over them without a hitch. Haven’t tried the cupped blade yet, but if it’s anything like the flat one, I’m sold.
Small gripe: A few teeth bent after 20 minutes of use, but it still cuts like a dream. A quick wire-brush cleanup brought it back to life. Just avoid wet wood—it clogs fast (learned that the hard way).
Safety note: This thing is *powerful*. Wear a face shield, and ease into it—angle grinders don’t forgive mistakes. But for $30? Absolute steal for smooth, aggressive carving. 9/10, would grind again.
