The Good: The app is super easy to connect (Smart Life), and remote monitoring is a game-changer. I love getting alerts when temps go wild. The probe is durable—no salt corrosion issues even in my humid terrarium. Also, Alexa integration? Chef’s kiss.

The Annoying: The temperature yo-yo effect is REAL. Set it to 75°F? Congrats, it’ll swing to 82°F before the cooling kicks in. I had to rig an Alexa routine to force-reset it daily. Also, changing settings via the physical buttons feels like programming a VCR in 1995. Why even have WiFi if the app can’t handle basic adjustments?

Verdict: It works… mostly. Great for hobbyists who don’t mind babysitting it, but if you need precision, look elsewhere. 3/5 stars.
