Okay, so I snagged these Amazon Essentials shorts because let's be real - who doesn't love a good deal? Here's my take after wearing them for a few weeks.
First off, the fabric is NICE. That cotton twill with just a hint of stretch? Perfect for summer. They breathe well but still move with you. Though heads up - they run a tad shorter than other 9" inseam shorts I own.
The fit is... interesting. Went with my usual size 32 and the waist fits great, but the thighs and crotch area feel tighter than expected. If you're on the thicker side (like me at 220lbs), maybe size up?
Biggest win? The price-to-quality ratio. These feel way more expensive than they are. The five-pocket design looks sharp, and I love that the back pockets don't have annoying buttons.
Downsides? No dedicated phone pocket (come on Amazon!) and the sizing isn't super consistent across colors. My khaki ones fit perfect, but the navy pair in the same size was way too tight.
Verdict: For the price, these are solid. Just maybe order two sizes and return what doesn't fit. Already planning to grab more colors!
