I recently tested the Colt Wireless prepaid SIM card for 60 days, and here's my honest take.
The good: Setup was indeed hassle-free - just pop it in and follow the simple activation steps. Data speeds in the US were impressive, consistently hitting 4G LTE speeds. The 50GB monthly allowance is generous, and I loved using it as a hotspot for my laptop during travels.
However, the international service claims don't hold up. Like other reviewers, I found it completely non-functional during my trip to Costa Rica. The '90+ countries' coverage seems misleading when basic connectivity fails.
For domestic US use, it's a solid choice with transparent pricing and good speeds. But if you're buying this specifically for international travel, you'll likely be disappointed. Stick to local SIMs when abroad.
