Okay, so I've been using this Drive Medical overbed table as my makeshift standing desk for about 2 months now, and holy cow - it's been a game changer for my back problems!
First off, the height adjustment is SO smooth. I'm constantly switching between sitting and standing (like 10+ times a day), and that lever mechanism holds up perfectly even with my heavy all-in-one PC on top.
The wheels are a bit iffy on carpet though - had to get those little wheel cups to keep it stable. But once locked? Rock solid. No wobbles even when I'm typing like a maniac during Zoom calls.
Assembly was surprisingly easy (took me like 15 mins), but PSA: DON'T remove that one screw that's clearly labeled! Almost made that mistake but caught it last second.
For under $50? Absolute steal. My physical therapist saw my setup and said 'Damn, that's smart' - so there's your professional endorsement right there!
