Just got this cookbook and WOW - it's a game-changer for my kitchen!
First off, the recipes use Native American ingredients in such creative ways. I made the Three Sisters Stew last night (corn, beans, squash) and it was insanely good. The flavors just pop!
The book is organized by main ingredients instead of meal types, which is different but actually makes sense. Found myself learning so much about indigenous foods while cooking.
Bonus points for the stunning food photography - every page makes me hungry. And the historical notes add such depth to the cooking experience.
Already ordered New Mexican chili powder online to try more recipes. This might just become my most-used cookbook!
