Okay, so I finally caved and bought these LVWIT smart bulbs after seeing them everywhere. Here’s the tea:
First off, these things are BRIGHT. Like, 'why did I ever use regular bulbs' bright. The colors pop, and the white light is crisp enough to perform surgery (not that I’ve tried... yet).
But... they have moods. Sometimes Alexa ignores them, or they take their sweet time responding. And if you flip the switch off and on too fast? Total drama—they freeze up like a teenager asked to do chores.
The app is decent, though. Grouping bulbs is easy, and the color options are wild—16 million shades? I’ve cycled through maybe 12 before getting bored. The voice control works... when it feels like it.
Oh, and pro tip: Don’t use them with dimmer switches. They’ll throw a fit. Learned that the hard way.
Overall? Solid 8/10. Bright, colorful, but a tad temperamental. Would still buy again—just maybe not for my easily frustrated relatives.
