I was excited to try the Fuxinya A14 Pro Max, drawn in by its specs: 6.8-inch screen, 50MP camera, and 5G support. But reality hit hard.
The phone looks sleek in blue, and the 6.8-inch display is decent for watching videos. But that's where the positives end. Performance is sluggish - apps take forever to load, and multitasking is a nightmare.
The camera? Don't believe the 50MP hype. Photos look washed out, and low-light performance is terrible. My $200 phone from 3 years ago takes better pictures.
Battery life is inconsistent. Sometimes it lasts all day, other times it dies by noon for no apparent reason. And when it does die, good luck turning it back on - you'll be mashing that power button like it's 1999.
The worst part? Network compatibility issues. It wouldn't work with my Cricket SIM, only recognizing AT&T. And many essential apps simply wouldn't install.
I wanted to like this phone, but after 2 weeks of frustration, I'm returning it. Save your money and look elsewhere.
