Okay, so I just finished 'Trading Yesterday' and WOW. My emotions are a complete mess right now. I went into this thinking it would be a cute second-chance romance but NOPE – this book wrecked me (in the best possible way).
First off, Chase? SWOON. This man is the definition of 'ride or die.' The way he drops everything for Teagan after years of heartbreak? Unreal. And don't even get me started on Remi – that sweet little girl had me sobbing into my pillow at 2 AM.
The angst in this book is NEXT LEVEL. Like, 'throw-your-Kindle-across-the-room' level. Teagan's choices frustrated me at times, but Kahlen Aymes writes her with such raw vulnerability that you can't help but understand her pain.
Special shoutout to Jensen – that man deserves his own book (and I hear he's getting one!). The bromance between him and Chase gave me all the feels.
Fair warning: Have tissues ready. Like, a whole box. Between the medical drama, the secret baby reveal, and all that unresolved sexual tension, this book is an emotional marathon. But SO worth it.
P.S. Ignore the soccer inaccuracies – the love story more than makes up for it!
