The magnetic base is genius - I've stuck mine to a filing cabinet where it's always within reach. The included adhesive dots work well too if you don't have metal surfaces. No more fumbling with sticky note packages!

BUT... there are some quirks. Like other reviewers mentioned, the lid pops off constantly when pulling notes. I eventually superglued the magnets (which arrived loose) for a more secure fit. Also, you MUST use special accordion-style 3x3" notes - regular stacks won't feed properly.

Capacity is disappointing too. Despite the chunky design, it only holds about two note packs because the spring mechanism doesn't extend fully downward. Such a missed opportunity!

Final verdict? 7/10 for charm but 5/10 for execution. Perfect if you prioritize cuteness over functionality, but power users might find it frustrating.
