Let me start by saying these glasses have been a lifesaver for my screen-heavy lifestyle. As someone who spends 10+ hours daily in front of screens, the difference in eye strain is noticeable almost immediately after putting them on.
The amber tint is subtle enough that I can wear them during video calls without looking like I'm in a sci-fi movie. They genuinely reduce that gritty, tired-eye feeling I used to get by mid-afternoon.
Now for the not-so-great part: the photochromic feature is basically non-existent. Don't buy these expecting proper transition lenses - they barely darken outdoors. I've tested them in bright sunlight multiple times with minimal change.
Where these glasses shine (pun intended) is as indoor blue light blockers. The frame is comfortable for all-day wear, and I've noticed improved sleep quality since using them during evening screen time.
Bottom line: Fantastic for computer use, mediocre as sunglasses. If you're mainly looking for digital eye strain relief, these deliver. But if outdoor transition is your priority, keep looking.
