After using the Innobaby stainless steel bento box for my toddler's lunches and snacks, here's my take on this popular container.
The Good Stuff: This little box is surprisingly spacious! I was able to fit a decent portion of cut-up quesadillas, fruits, and crackers - perfect for small appetites. The stainless steel construction feels premium and gives me peace of mind about food safety. I particularly love how it keeps food at the right temperature - my kid's lunch was still warm 4 hours later!
Smart Features: The adjustable divider is handy for separating different foods (though liquids can seep through). The lid snaps securely on all four sides - a huge improvement over other containers we've tried. It's also super easy for little hands to open and close independently.
Room for Improvement: The size might be too small as kids grow older. The removable metal insert seems unnecessary and just adds to cleanup. While the divider is useful, it doesn't create a watertight separation between compartments.
Durability Check: Some users reported broken tabs after minimal use, but ours has held up well through daily daycare use. The company apparently offers good customer service if issues arise.
Final Verdict: An excellent eco-friendly option for toddler snacks and small lunches. Not perfect, but one of the better stainless steel options out there. Just don't expect it to last forever as your child grows.
