Okay, so I grabbed these Amazon Essentials cargo shorts on a whim during a late-night shopping spree. Here's the real tea after wearing them for a month:
The good stuff first - these shorts are stupid comfortable. The fabric feels like that perfect middle ground between sturdy and soft. I've worn them hiking (accidentally), to BBQs (on purpose), and even slept in them once (don't ask).
Pockets? Oh man, the pockets! I could probably fit my entire life in these things. Phone, wallet, keys, snacks - no problem. Though my wife says I look like a kangaroo when I load them all up.
Now the not-so-great: The sizing is... interesting. I usually wear medium but had to size up. Also, that back pocket flap situation? Cute security feature until you're fumbling with it at the checkout line.
Final verdict? For the price, they're solid 8/10. Would buy again but maybe in a different color because black shows every single crumb from my snack pockets.
