I've been using the ZAGG Glass XTR4 on my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra for about a month now, and it's been a mixed but mostly positive experience. The graphene-reinforced glass definitely feels sturdy - I've accidentally dropped my phone twice (oops) and there's not a single scratch on the protector.
The blue light filtering is noticeable when scrolling at night. My eyes don't feel as strained during those late-night Twitter binges. The anti-reflective coating works decently outdoors, though it's not quite as good as Samsung's OEM protectors - I still get some glare in direct sunlight.
Installation was surprisingly smooth thanks to the EZ Apply tray. No bubbles on first try, though I did have to redo it once when a stubborn dust particle got underneath. Pro tip: do the installation in your bathroom after running hot water to minimize dust.
The fingerprint scanner works flawlessly through the protector, which was a relief after bad experiences with other brands. The surface has this nice smooth texture that makes swiping feel premium.
My biggest gripe? For this price point ($60), they should include at least two protectors. Also, while the recycled materials are great for sustainability, I wish they'd focus more on perfecting the anti-reflective properties.
Would I buy it again? Probably - but only because of that lifetime warranty. It's pricey, but knowing I can get replacements makes it justifiable for someone like me who keeps phones for 2+ years.
