Let me start by saying I had HIGH hopes for these postpartum pads after reading the description. The promise of 'maximum absorbency' and 'hospital-grade softness' sounded like a dream for my post-delivery needs. But reality hit hard when I opened the package.
The first thing I noticed? These pads are NOT 20 inches long unless you count the useless tail (which has no adhesive). I had to awkwardly layer two pads to get proper coverage in my underwear - not exactly the 'superior coverage' advertised. Within 3 hours of wearing, I experienced catastrophic leakage out the back that ruined my clothes. The absorbency claims feel wildly exaggerated.
That said, the softness is legitimately impressive. The cotton-like material is gentle on sensitive areas, and they're noticeably less bulky than traditional hospital pads (a plus for C-section moms). The adhesive strip works well for positioning, though I wish they included wings for better security.
Would I recommend? Only with major caveats. They might work okay for light-to-medium flow days, but heavy bleeders should look elsewhere. The comfort is there, but the performance doesn't match the marketing hype.
