Just slapped these Dymoece pads on my Formula C1 brakes and wow - that initial bite is NO JOKE! The resin compound gives that instant grab I've been missing with stock pads. Way less noisy than my old sintered metals too.
Install was stupid easy - popped right in without any shim nonsense. Bedding process took like two downhill runs before they started feeling properly sticky. Modulation is chef's kiss perfect for trail riding.
BUT... heard some horror stories from the DH crew. One dude cooked his rear pads doing SoCal enduro runs - said they literally came apart mid-descent 😬 Maybe keep these for XC/trail rather than park days?
For the price though? Absolute steal if you're not doing extreme downhill. Been running them for three months now on my daily trail smasher with zero issues. Just avoid brake-dragging down fire roads unless you want early retirement.
Pro tip: The semi-metallic version might be better for heavier riders or wet conditions based on what others reported. These organic ones do fade a bit when completely soaked.
