Let me start by saying these sunglasses nailed the '70s rockstar aesthetic perfectly. The black frame with gold accents gives off major vintage vibes, and at 5.5" wide, they definitely make a statement. I wore them to a summer music festival and got several compliments on the look.
However, the comfort level leaves much to be desired. After about two hours of wear, I noticed the metal frames pressing uncomfortably behind my ears. The nose pads aren't particularly soft either - I found myself adjusting them constantly.
The UV protection claim is... questionable at best. While they do reduce glare somewhat, I didn't feel fully protected on bright sunny days. They're more like fashion filters than proper sun blockers.
Durability is where these really fall short. Mine survived exactly one drop from coffee table height before the frame bent out of shape irreparably. The metal feels thin and flimsy - more like costume jewelry than proper eyewear.
For occasional use (think Halloween costumes or photo shoots), they're passable if you get them on sale. But if you're looking for everyday sunglasses that'll last, I'd suggest investing in a sturdier pair from an optical brand.
