Okay, so I took the plunge and got this CHADWICK anti-theft relay thingy for my 2006 Ford Explorer. Gotta say - when it works, it WORKS. The remote range is insane (like 15m as advertised) and installation was surprisingly simple once I found the right relay.
BUT here's the tea ☕... The instructions might as well be written in hieroglyphics. Like seriously, what engineer wrote this? Had to YouTube my way through most of it. Also heads up - if your car doesn't match Model A or B exactly, just walk away fam.
The auto fuel-cut feature is genius though. Car won't start unless you're nearby with the remote - perfect for quick gas station stops. And no wire cutting! Just plug-and-play (well... plug-and-pray with those instructions lol).
PSA: Saw some reviews about grinding noises - didn't experience this myself but definitely test before final installation. For $40? Worth the peace of mind against car thieves imo.
