After weeks of research and comparing specs, I finally pulled the trigger on the HP ProBook 450 G10. As someone who juggles between coding, video editing, and business presentations, this laptop has been a game-changer.
The first thing that struck me was how lightweight it is for a 15.6-inch machine. At just over 3 pounds, it's easy to carry around all day without feeling like I'm lugging around a brick. The silver finish gives it a professional look that doesn't scream 'gamer laptop' in business meetings.
Performance-wise, the Intel Core i7-1355U processor handles everything I throw at it with ease. I regularly have multiple Chrome tabs open along with Visual Studio Code and Photoshop, and haven't experienced any lag. The 32GB RAM is overkill for most tasks, but it's nice knowing I won't need an upgrade anytime soon.
The backlit keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions (like writing this review), though it took some getting used to after coming from a mechanical keyboard. The anti-glare display is perfect for working in brightly lit offices or coffee shops - no more fighting reflections!
Connectivity options are excellent - I particularly appreciate having both USB-C and HDMI ports for presentations. The Wi-Fi 6E support means faster file transfers when working from co-working spaces with modern routers.
Battery life has been solid - I get about 7-8 hours of mixed use (coding with some YouTube breaks). Not the best in class, but more than enough for my workday.
The only minor gripe? Windows 11 Pro setup required some tweaking out of the box to get everything optimized. But once configured properly, it's been smooth sailing ever since.
After two months of daily use, I can confidently say this is one of the best business laptops I've owned. It strikes the perfect balance between performance and portability without breaking the bank.
